an Ecuadorian adventure trip operator managed by young professionals, that offers canoe trips down the Cuyabeno Nature Reserve. This 600,000 hectare protected  park is situated deep within the Ecuadorian Amazon and  offers diverse types of  vegetation (rainforest, flooded forests, swamps), lakes and rivers. 

With the incredible number of 12.000 different plant species, 307 tree species, more than 500 bird species, and 350 fish species, it is considered to be a true paradise for all wildlife lovers. 

Moreover, LUPUNA CANOE TRIPS is not only a great opportunity to get submerged into the rainforest for a couple of days and experience a completely new camping experience, it is also an opportunity to do  lots of sports while enoying the nature. As the concept of this trips is doing the whole excursion  on canoes, we'll be paddling at least three hours each day down the rivers and lakes.

This is not only a fun experience for the traveler, but also enviroment friendly. Avoiding motorized canoes also makes possible to hear all the incredible sounds made by the insects, moneys, birds and other animals. 
Therefore,  traveling by paddle canoe makes that the animals are less likely to be scared away when we approach, which increases the chances of observing them from a close distance.

However, paddling is only one of many different activity option offered by LUPUNA CANOE TRIPS. We also offer several (night and day) jungle hikes, fishing and swiming and trips to local indigenous communities.

Every day we will make sure to arrive at our camping site at daylight, in order to be able to make ourselves comfotable  for the night in the jungle.

In case that you don't have the propper camping equipment, don't worry! We have everything you need in order to have a safe and placid camping experience.We provide you with quality Canadian canoes, life vests, paddles, dry bags, rain clothing, boots, tents, sleeping bags & sleeping pads and mosquito nets. 
The only thing you have to bring with you is light clothing, good hiking shoes and a flash light.
